The Leadership and Coaching Standard is not a leadership skills programme. It focuses on leadership as a strategic issue for chairs and chief executives.
The Leadership and Coaching Standard, consists of two sets of indicators which will allow your organisation to measure and develop feedback on how well your organisation’s entire leadership team is performing.
The indicators are separated into two levels of activity:
Level One assesses the extent to which you have addressed leadership as a strategic issue within your organisation and the impact this has on corporate performance.
Level Two assesses the extent to which leaders at all levels of your organisation enable all staff to develop their full potential.
The Leadership and Coaching Standard is not a tick box exercise. We believe focussing on tick boxes stifles innovation and can overlook good practice.
There is no prescribed formula for achieving accreditation against the Leadership and Coaching Standard.
Our standards advisers will help you to understand what assessment against the Leadership and Coaching Standard will entail.
