April 2013 – GEM Sarah Morton is 2013 Rising Stars finalist
The finalists for Rising Stars 2013 have been announced and we are proud to say that our GEM Sarah Morton has reached the final. This is fantastic news and will give Sarah some great opportunities throughout this year to get involved in the sector through the CIH.
Sarah was recruited by the Centre for Partnership in Autumn 2012 onto our 5th GEM cohort. She has a degree in Sociology and Social Policy and is and is carrying out a 12 month internship at one of our partner organisations South Yorkshire Housing Association.
Sarah is working on a number of project areas exploring Business Opportunities in the NHS, Social Impact and Social Return on Investment; and Customer Wellbeing. Since the start of the programme Sarah has been a hard working, enthusiastic and engaged member of the cohort and we’d love her to be able to reap the benefits that winning this prestigious award would bring, enhancing her career prospects in our sector.
As part of her application, Sarah has come up with some great ideas for promoting the housing sector as a great career to school leavers. Over the next few weeks Sarah will be expanding her ideas and putting them into practice.

March 2013 – CIH External Quality Assessment
The Centre for Partnership is an accredited centre for the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH). Our delivery of an intensive Level 4 Certification for the Housing Profession for our GEM Programme has recently been externally assessed.
The CIH had this to say about our assessment – “A very positive report that demonstrates how innovative the GEM programme is.”
The GEM Programme – now looking for partner organisations to offer new internship opportunities to graduates starting Autumn 2013.
